This is supposed to be for yesterday's but I'm trying ... :
Baywatch
[Paramount Pictures]
The franchise Viagra so to speak Dwayne Johnson had me interested in this modern reboot of the famous lifeguard series but when the reviews were out, I couldn't bring myself to watch it ... until last week. Well, it's just a decent movie and it's nothing to write home about. The talents in the Rock and Zac Efron alone could bring a lot of comedy between them but with quite a convoluted script that are just stumbling over because of it, handicapping the cast to work with a storyline that won't let them show more of their personalities and relationship but rather had to focus on a murder mystery, instead of, you know, something that can only happen at sea where lifeguards would actually have jurisdictions in. A lot of potential, but a wrong approach to begin with.

[CUT]
Physical appearance can be such a cruel and shallow indication of how society view each other if they judge others just based on how they look. This little series by Cut is a straightforward look based on the presumption alone and with Americans judging other Americans, they might be a bit blunt compared to other people's culture but it emphasizes that part even more when they are proven to be false in the end. I love how this shows that not all people can be judged by how they appears at first glance and they sometimes don't dress for success or dress to show off their wealth. There are other reasons that might be take into account when judging a person's appearance and I am looking forward to see where other videos in the series.
Mae Young Classic 2018
[WWE]
I couldn't think of something to cover for this segment so let me highlight my previous reviews of the first two episodes of this year's Mae Young Classic Tournament. I might be a bit late on the reviews but I just want to give them my proper attention since how much I love this genre and how diverse the talents are. Speaking of which, there are much wider range of talents this time around and I love seeing how each of the wrestler have been able to find their own voices and styles and you can see those who hone it over the years and those that are just that talented to keep up! I can't wait to see what the next round would bring with it since we cut down the contestants down to sixteen ... let the cream rise to the top!
