Tried to do stay to true to the name but life just keep throwing obstacles at you and you ended up stumbling despite your best efforts ...at least I tried:
[amanita design]
Discovering the developer's signature work in Machinarium and instantly attracted to how the world is created and how stylised everything is makes me keeps one searching for other creations by Amanita Design, with xyz and Botanicula keep on adding up to their track record. Coming across this particular game I can right away tell it is by the same studio just based on the screenshot alone and seeing how ambitious they become with the change of sub-genre and the scale of the game makes me that much more excited to get my hands on it. Reminiscing of Odd's Odyssey with the side scrolling puzzle-solving, they are moving away a bit from the point-and-click and letting the player control the protagonist directly, or at least that's what I assume the game to be. Have you played any of the studio's previous games and are you looking forward to this slight departure?

Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse
[Sony]
I was already happy that the studio decided to give the African American Spider-Man a go by using the nonrestrictive medium of CGI but seeing how colourful and one-of-a-kind the style and animation from the first trailer, it just makes itself a must see for me at the end of the year, alongside Marry Poppins and Aquaman of course. Weren't quite clear with the storyline of this particular film before but with this second trailer, I can clearly see that they will use this not only as an origin film for Miles Morales but also introducing the concept of Multiverse to the casual audiences and how they are many variations of the Spider-Man other than the original Peter Parker's. It is such a zany concept that animation is the perfect platform for such a high profile experiment in this magnitude. I'm all in for Miles but seeing him onscreen with Porky Pig and Spider-Man Noir is just icing on the cake. Are you a fan of the new animation style and will be watching it on the silver screen just like me?

X-Men: Dark Phoenix
[FOX]
Simon Kinberg has a lot in his plates with his directorial debut in attempting another go with the Dark Phoenix saga and trying to end the X-Men Fox Movie Universe on a high or at least with a proper farewell. I enjoyed this first look of the film and gets where they are going with this particular adaptation and I can't see why there have been quite vocal criticisms against it ever since. I guess moving it back yet again would give the film some breathing room before being reintroduced when the time comes. The timeline is too convoluted now, a nice fresh reset might be incoming when they get reintroduced into the MCU down the line.
