Tips, see Thursday 003 & misc list 022
Totally forgot about this segment so here I am trying to make up for it. With that being said, let me give some tips on something that I just did in the afternoon:
#007: starting the engine
As we are an efficient living being, there is the need to properly warm up our body before we do anything that would require the strain of our muscles and body. An efficient body would not use any unnecessary energy when we are in staying still but when the need to exert yourself comes, there is a reason for the body to have muscle cramps or even tare when the action goes from zero to a hundred suddenly in split second, as that much stress on a dormant body would overwork muscles that is just not ready to accept such amount. With a proper warm up session, at least we are readying ourselves or more specifically our body and muscles to be exerted properly.
#008: alternate
I learned of this fact a bit too late as my previous schedule had caught up to me with the recurring and lingering knee injury kept haunting me for years (it hasn't in a couple of weeks now thankfully, but understandably not fully healed yet). The advice that makes most sense is to actually alternate between your exercise sessions, not repeating the same session day after day and straining the same parts of the body too much until it won't improve upon it any further. The way our body develop its muscles is by tearing through the existing ones and build upon them with newer and stronger formations but when you start working the same places again and again, your body would not be able to recover fully and in return the progress would hit a plateau that would not improve unless it is given the time it needs. My personal example is to alternate between endurance and strength exercise one day after the other, jogging for a day and lifting weights for another, with a rest period after the exercise or between them. Speaking of which ...
#009: calm down
... you need to rest your body, even more so when you have exercised for days straight for example. Even when you did alternate between the exercises, these constant stress on your body is never good when your quest to keep your body healthy instead makes your body worse, with the stressed parts of the body would cease to improve upon themselves and would actually regress and start to deteriorate under that constant building up of pressure. Going with the aforementioned points, your body would need to recover after all that stress no matter how healthy you are but just bare in mind that everybody have a different physiology compared to others so please get to know your body better and know its limitations and also plusses.

Well, that's all folks! Thank you for your time and please do come back for my future posts! :-)
