the grass is always greener on the other side

10 wrestlers who should or could leave WWE in 2018
WhatCulture
After the recent call-up post-Wrestlemania and the most recent Superstar Shakeup, the roster is better than ever now with fresh bloods and wrestlers crossing over to new grounds but to plant new seeds, the existing seedlings that didn't live up to expectation or encumbered with other environmental circumstances would need to be plucked out and replaced with ones with better potentials:

10. Neville
After being unfairly thrown aside after leading the handicapped 205 division to new heights and then being burdened by Enzo Amore for the worse, it is a crime not only to keep his boundless talents in the Cruiserweight class and not let him roam free in the upper card that he could excel in, but even more so when you're not giving him the chance to prove himself at all as he understandably decided to step out for months now and keeping him tied down to the contract he first thought was the guarantee of his future. Instead it serves as the legal binding that is used to unfairly tie him down from thriving in greener pastures ... if he won't ever getting his deserved push here, let him out of his misery, WWE!

9. the Ascension
How far the mighty have fallen. Truth be told, they were the NXT Tag Team Champions when the division was having a drought and couldn't give them proper challenges for the titles and resulted in the characters not being fully developed without much layers and complexities. In turns, they were not being properly used since being called up by the writers and this recent migration to RAW do not exactly present them with much possibilities to grow at all (that promo teasing a Tag Team Money in the Bank match could be a step in the right direction). Instead of lingering in the same position year after year, they should take the chance to develop themselves in the indies. Who knows, maybe they might return better than ever just like Drew McIntyre! Wishful thinking but never say never!

8. Big Show
The legend of WWE that should have been inducted into the Hall of Fame already have had such an inconsistent career trajectory recently which should be blamed upon the booking rather his age and physique, with him being in his best shape of his life despite almost being a half a century old. Being a proper veteran, he is giving back to the younger roster by spending his most recent matches putting over younger talents and it is only fitting for him to have a final hurrah with a farewell Wrestlemania match or maybe a final push with the main title for example. It's the least the company could do for him.

7. Dolph Ziggler
I sincerely thought that he would leave to the indies months ago when he relinquished the United States Championship but he decided otherwise by returning in Royal Rumble without any fanfare and back to the middling grounds that he so accustomed to. Rather than reinvent himself in NXT just like how Steve and Larson suggested, he is just back and doing the same shticks yet again, although pairing him up with Drew McIntyre could resulted in an interesting outcome, certainly providing the NXT callup a guiding hand to familiarize himself back into this world. If this experiment turns out to be bust, he just couldn't go anywhere anymore after this except the indies.

6. the Colons
Who? Just like the guy in the video, I was surprised to see them back again on television just week ago. I remembered them for the failed travel agents caricatures ... and that's it. They just couldn't cut it here but maybe they would do better in much more freer environment.

5. Tamina
Being the second generation performer comes with its own baggage and expectation and unfortunately for Tamina Snuka, she just couldn't escape the shadow of her famous father (just like another name later on this list) and thrive as a believable leader of the division and an unstoppable force even after eight years in the WWE. I believe she just hasn't given a chance by the writers just like the one Nia Jax had on the Red Brand and with her being at the age that one should consider to retire (having an injury doesn't help either), there is a better chance for her out there than in this familial home to be a potential Women's Champion!

4. Titus O'Neil
He deserves so much more than languishing in the middle since he is such an individual as a father and a philanthropist off-screen outside of the ring. Being the company man as he is, he would stay loyal despite not going anywhere close to any of the titles since it is beneficial to his life which I wholeheartedly understand. With the roster being much more competitive however, it would not serves him well in the long run to just stay in this space, despite the accidental success of the trip (that appeared to already ran its course) and the Titus Worldwide trio. He better start looking elsewhere before it starts to go downhill ...

3. Goldust
Despite having his first match in the late 1990, he is still going strong 28 years later, having his last match with John Cena of all people. He can still perform but since his character is such a unique character that couldn't really evolve far from its own spectrum, he would just be another talent being stuck as the cannon fodder for younger talents with much more momentum behind them. Even though he might not have the same potential as Cody Rhodes, Dustin could still thrive as an enigmatic performer outside of the confines of WWE. Just imagine how people would react to him being off his leash and strive on his own creativity!

2. Curtis Axel
Another child having to live up to their parents, Curtis actually did received a proper push that just failed in its execution and now stuck in a limbo with Bo Dallas after their leader the Miz leave for a blank slate, I think it is time for him to do the same or just suffer the same fate long enough that he would regret not taking the chance to fill his potential.

1. Brock Lesnar
I'm sick of the top title of RAW being stuck between a rock and a hard place, between a glorified prized fighter and a failed Roman experiment. The Universal Championship keeps losing its value every minute it's not on the show and not defended as frequent as SmackDown's WWE Championship despite it being around Brock's waist since he only came out once in a blue moon. I thought he would fight full time for UFC when his contract was up but WWE inexplicably still wants to keep this going for how many longer ... when this years-long feud finally over (fingers crossed!), he would have proper opponents to change blows with on RAW such as Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley, but I can't see him adding more value to the company any more by keeping the company as a one trick pony with only one trick, rather than evolving themselves into a better product with different talents at the forefront. He has runs his course, please let him die a quick death already.

P.S. I love that they even did a classic switcharoo just how Elias did with the Undertaker in the last minutes, certainly giving me layer after layer of joy from that stunt!
