for your sleep

Tips, see Thursday 018 & misc list 097
Well, I should have make a followup for the podcast days ago ...
Nevertheless, I am able to fix my sleeping pattern just now so I'll try to give a few tips on how to do so. This is from my personal experience and your own may vary:

#052: hey, listen!
Being a rebel (har har), I never actually listen to what my body is telling me most of the time because of my constant need to go online which in turns causing my uneven sleeping patterns that is detriment to my health. You actually need to pay attention to the warning sign your body is throwing at you when it needs to rest and recharge: the sleepiness that comes over you at the end of the day. If you dutifully listen and do as it says every day for a set amount of time, your body will be the better for it, waking up much more energised the day after with enough sleep under your belt so to speak. You should know how much sleep your own body needs by now, and try to fill in the quota as much as you can.

#053: be aware
Do you want to sleep soundly at night? You should then be aware of how you live your daily life before the day turns to night. Depends on your own level of energy, you should know how much you can strain your body before it would ask for a much needed rest to reenergise the body. If you can't help but work for the whole day, then try to find some time to take a moment, breathe and rest your body and mind. Even if you can't take a power nap for example, an effort you make to stay dormant and regroup yourself would be much appreciated by your body, which in turns won't make you that sleepy in the morning as a result.

#054: plan accordingly
Well, isn't this a bit obvious but you should know that you might not have a proper sleeping schedule for your own benefit. Are you still sleepy and tired even after waking up the next day? Then there is something wrong that you just overlook! If you sleep early tonight, of course you'll wake up early tomorrow and vice versa but when you do have a regular sleeping pattern and still have trouble staying awake or feel dizzy, then you might want to shift your focus on your daily diet or lifestyle for example. They say a good night's sleep would do you wonders and they are not mistaken but don't put all your eggs on the sleeping basket since they are other factors that might overlook that is affecting you more than a lack of sleep. Broaden your scope.
