Jackie Kashian is such a unique individual and have a really positive vibe around her (as much as Laurie Kilmartin would suggest otherwise ... maybe just around her she could be her more jaded self) based on what I've heard of her on the podcast. Being around a variety of comics in the the standup industry, I'm sure she had found different people with different things they are obsessed about. It is a simple concept really but with almost limitless possibilities, talking about the fellow comic's passion on a certain matter and based on the diverse range of topics she had covered during her run, it is just mind-boggling how one dorkdom (as she puts it) would be at one end of the spectrum while another would be at the exact opposite. It just shows that comedians are people too and each of them live a different life compared to others hence the unique and different subject they are covering, how particularly specific some of them could be. In the grand scheme of thing, the sole congratulations should be given to the host herself as she spearheaded this endeavour to highlight and embrace each of her fellow colleague's dorkdom and let the audience listen in on their enlightening conversation. Take care of yourself out there.

Laidback conversation between someone in the know and someone who wants to learn, as the soft-spoken host able to focus on the subject of the day while allowing the guest to get his/her dork/geek on, putting the spotlight on what the guest is passionate about and the reasons behind it.
There sure virtually limitless amount of guest she could bring in with equal amount of materials to cover ... it serves as a side project for her besides her standup career, but where could she go after this? Will it be more of the same in the future or will it eventually evolve into something else entirely? Only time will tell ...

Since the subjects are too diverse and random for Jackie to cover them all properly, we could forgive her if she couldn't keep up with the guest on a certain matter with different level of knowledge to fully comprehend the matter.
There are none, I believe. Since she herself and her husband have their own things they are passionate about, she uses what is available to her to the fullest extent that she could. All the power to her!
