guilty for enjoying my POPs
accompany - fragile - placement
guilty pleasures Tuesday 022
When you have action figures or more precisely small statues, you can't actually play with them since they do not have movable appendages and I choose to use them in ways that I find fun to me. Let's see if you have the same ...:
#022a location, location, location
Unlike any other more conventional Funko POP collectors, I do not have a custom or designated stand to put them neatly in line. Instead I put them all around the house by taking into account the place and the surrounding colours. What I mean by these are I will see if putting the vinyl there will make sense in any way or if the colours of the place that I choose match the particular character. For example, I have in my eyesight as I am sitting here the classic Black Panther guarding a framed picture while being accompanied by two teddy bears while the Age of Ultron the Vision is on top of a pastel coloured Tupperware tissue holder. I even have Rogue One Darth Vader and K-2SO all the way up in the custom cap display (my father's decision and I only concurred ...) to represent Star Wars, all the way up in space. Do any of my decisions makes sense to you or do you concur to all?
#022b involuntary company
Okay ... this might be a bit childish but what do you expect from a grown man with character figures in his collection. Anyway, I will put one of them at my side each as I play some games and sometimes I even make them face the screen just to satiate my childish imagination. I know it's a bit weird but it's just like having your own company, okay?! This certainly fits this particular segment perfectly.

#021c handle with care
Funko POP related, I will keep the figures out of the box, which might not be something all Funko enthusiasts agree, but to each its own. Having them out in the open really allow me to appreciate them without any plastic in front of them. Having them close to me allow me to sometimes steal a glance and admire the sculpting every now and then. That's one of my purposes buying them at the first place. What is yours?
