Let's see if I can keep this up. Here we go ...:
a Star is Born
Remake after remake of a same premise might not be that intriguing to go back time and time again but what actually make this project is the talent behind it, and what a talent(s) they are. Bradley Cooper is the MVP both in front and behind the camera as the male lead and the director while Lady Gaga actually shed her alter ego skin and shines as sxy, a capable dramatic actress as the star of the show. The talents showcase in this musical is second to none with the former transform himself as a full fledged triple threat (can sing and play guitar and piano! What?!) rock star while the latter emphasize her natural talent to sing like nobody's business and since the storyline depends on the relationship between these two talents, their natural chemistry with each other is palpable. Watch it for the music, watch it for the talent, and watch it for the heartfelt drama!

the Ballad of Buster Scruggs
[the Coen Brothers]
American directors are not as 'patriotic' as xyz Coen and xyz Coen since they always based their movies in the heartland and this upcoming feature is not an exception. Despite having admittedly uneven track record recently although I enjoy each of them (albeit to various degrees), I am still looking forward to watch this film especially seeing them returning to one of the more profitable time periods for them and their signature twist on western with the characters you've seen in the trailer in the titular character and the one in the death row. I am looking forward to it. Are you as well?

I might do the same for other shows for WWE if I can make the time, which is very unlikely. With that being said, the first match between the highflying Ligero against the beast Mike Mitchman is quite fun, starting with a faster gear compared to their inaugural episode. The former with a mask Union Jack gimmick while the latter have all black lenses as their character visual identities but how entertaining the match they put on that matters. Both are able to showcase their own in-ring abilities. Dakota Kai against Killer Kelly is a step up as the second match under this banner with a lot of ring awareness moves as well as hard hitting kicks and punches. That dragon(?) sleep hold looks effective and while her finisher could've look cleaner, Kai comes back to get a deserved win. The UK Women Championship is Ebbie Dennis have a lot of history with fellow UK competitors and with it a lot of baggage to settle with when he eventually debuts. Then we have Zack Gibson against the entire Cambridge audiences so it seems which I was quite unclear with why, but maybe how he carried himself in the previous tournament that you can see coming across when he is dealing with the abundant boos with aplomb. That's what I love that about the English crowd and I love that Zack knows how to use it to his advantage. After that, the match with Aston Smith against Tucker is another solid match with agility against strength clash against each other beautifully. What a way to end the night with a single match that is on another level with Wolfgang going against Tyler Bate, from the battle of strength to the eventual back and forth change of momentum between them. Both have their characteristics and personalities down pat and I am entertained from start to the finish of their bout. If you are not entertain, I don't think I can recommend anything else for you.

P.S. That a Star is Born ending though ... my heart!
