Third to end it, four against four and two to lead.

Maze Runner 3 - WWE's Four Horsewomen - You Quiz?

A little hiatus doesn't hurt anyone ... I need to take a breather after the Haunting of Hill House:

Maze Runner:
the Death Cure
[y.a.]
Young adult movie adaptation craze has come and gone as quick as it came but the Maze Runner trilogy is one of the last remaining remnants of the wave but I have to say that it certainly rises above the crops by being one of the better offerings the industry could muster. I am not familiar with the original novel series but seeing how diverse the adventures the main characters are going through the typical post-apocalyptic world are quite entertaining as I watch through the trilogy and see how far they have gone from the start in the Maze to an all out war in the Death Cure. It is as solid as the previous two outings but the new setting provide a number of instances for admittedly awesome action sequences from the train to the bus in the air (Yep! I didn't see that coming!). How they conclude the storyline is quite satisfying by tying in some loose ends and ending their journey as best as they could, despite the forced postpone of the production after the lead actor Dylan O'Brien got seriously injured on the set. He came back like a champ and I didn't even notice any stark visual difference before and after the injury, so props to the studio for waiting for him and pulling it off eventually. They ended it on a high personally for me. What do you think? Have you watch through the trilogy yourself? Are there any other adept YA adaptation?

Four Horsewomen
angle
[WWE]
Rumours aplenty in the wrestling community on what would be in store for the Women Division as we slowly approach Wrestlemania once again whereby the teased showdown between the existing WWE Four Horsewomen and the MMA Four Horsewomen is about to come true with the first storyline bit to be planted in the upcoming battle between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey. It is really tragic for Becky Lynch to be forced out of the bout against the RAW Champion because of a freak injury caused by an accident but the silver lining is this might (I want to enforce the word MIGHT) lead us to the aforementioned staredown between these two forces. Granted that the Champion versus Champion will not end clean (with presumed plan of Charlotte to step in favor of her frenemy) since both of them will not gain anything from losing and the company will not risk having their champions lose any momentum they have gain so far. I'm using this Marina Shafir video because she is part of the MMA Horsewomen that has been sign in following Ronda's high profile arrival and then Shayna Baszler. Jessamyn Dyke is the last of the four but hasn't made her debut yet (she reportedly did in a house show but no official video yet) and with all of them is now currently active (albeit in different stages of their careers), they are poised to be one dominant faction in the future, just like how the Undisputed Era is right now in NXT. Whether or not they will be fully heel or not till remains to be seen since the other two are still in development while the current Champs are still clearly the opposite of each other. Marina could follow in her husband's footsteps (from babyface to heel) while Jessamyn is the most intriguing for me since she is still an unknown quantity to me. Speculation is the name of the trade among the fans online and I am genuinely interested to see how this will unfold in the coming months. Ronda versus Charlotte, Shayna versus Sasha, Shafir versus Bayley and Dyke versus Lynch. Don't tell me you're not excited with this mouthwatering lineup! I tune in to watch interesting matches especially with contrasting styles and this Eight Horsewomen showdown will do the trick. Are you in?

You Quiz? On the Block
[TVN]
Yoo Jae-Suk is such a charismatic and dependable host that he could lead any kind of shows, and this newest one is certainly one of a kind that I can't help to tune in every time. Part of the reasons are the wonderful natural chemistry between him and Cho Sae-Ho since they are leading this on the street interview-slash-trivia by themselves, stripping away any superficial fluffs and focus on the interaction between the hosts and the contestants. Going back to basic and literally down to street level is quite a unique experience for me since having that genuine one-on-one interaction between ordinary people and renowned show hosts I will never get tired of. The other main variable here is the citizens themselves since they can run into many kinds of 'colours' around Korea, with definite highlights of some of the elders tending to their decades old shops and even just the normal Koreans with bright personalities that shine on camera. I'm not sure how long this will go on (since they did mention it was supposed to a short ten episode run or something ...) but I will keep tune in if they keep it going! Oh, the trivia parts are always tense and educational at the same time. The winner get the money on the spot which is great!

Well, that's all folks! Thank you for your time and please do come back for my future posts! :-)
