Project Viability =
above 80% with the popularity of the genre and how relatable the premise can be.

a case for the wonderful proof of concept short:
+ Positive +
Intelligent application of the superhero genre tropes into a real life situation with relatable problem of the mother trying to deal with her son's tendency to cause problems, with special effects used to portray his powers are top-notch, high-end which in turns effectively showcase them on screen.
~
Internal fighting between encouraging him to embrace his powers and let him be special or instead contain him from the outside world, forbid him from using his powers in the public out of fear of hurting others and attracting unwanted attractions.
? Main contention ?
Intriguing premise with excellent execution with the relationship between the normal mother and her son with abilities being the throughline that we can relate just like how a mum trying to understand her son that's changing by the normal biological occurrence of puberty.
- Negative -
It's just teasing snippets of their life, too short and sporadic for me to relate to the family but that's the nature of a teaser or proof of concept short.

Chance of Success =

above 80% with Michael B. Jordan's star power and Neflix's full backing.

a case for Michael B. Jordan's fronted superhero series:

+ Positive +
A charming, talented lead that have experience (albeit a negative one) in the genre.
~
Without any restriction that would be prevalent in the other network platforms, they could go all out with the premise and with ten-episode order as a test run just like Castlevania's four episodes run, they are not obligated to cater to the whims of the executives instead to the benefit of the show itself.
? Main contention ?
Since Netflix is turning up the knob on the original products for next year to the maximum, is this the only superhero show they're going to develop or would it be the starting point for more in the future?
- Negative -
Saturation level in the pop culture for superhero-related intellectual properties is at all time high, could be a detriment for potential new viewers who feel daunted to dive into one and deter them just based on the dozens of shows available currently.

"I started this project many years ago because I wanted to see more diverse representation on film and television and I’m excited to partner with Netflix and MACRO, who I know shares that commitment. More than ever, we need more stories told from different points of view and my hope with Raising Dion is to create a cinematic experience for all families that will lift your spirits and make you laugh and cry."     Dennis Liu
