That stance though ...

POPs of the day 007 Justice League's Batman, Little Nightmare's Six & Batgirl & Black Canary

Perhaps it was the restriction of the technology or perhaps it was the most cost effective decision they could take as a company that's just starting in a competitive industry. Whatever it may be, look how far they have come and now with better method to sculpt a much realistic body and position for the sculpts, it's a throwback to see they using that particular stance again, for better or for worse ...:

+ Best + Justice League's Batman +

Despite the rather straightforward villain without much character development with simple and non-extraordinary design for his wardrobe, the decision to focus on the eyes is effective in the film and it transitioned wonderfully into the Funko counterpart. It makes the whole POP, being its main attraction and being the perfect representative of the journey he went in the movie. Well done!

? My wish list ? Little Nightmare's Six ?
I used that particular stance for my previous work in Shadow Moon that I highlighted two or three days ago so I choose this instead as a retrospective pick as well as it is fitting here, as far as stance is considered. There were feedback on whether or not she should have her eyes be seen since it wasn't in the game but I think the eyes make her appear more humane and relatable. I will save the 'eyeless' version for the chase version when she is in the final stage (you'll know when you have played it). For today's topic, this is a viable stance that they could do that would fit the character the best in the final product. They might not give indie titles a chance, but I am hopeful ...

- Worst? - Arrow's Black Canary & Batman's Batgirl -
Two examples of needleesly trying to be uniformed across the sculpts instead of catering to the characters are Black Canary of cw's Arrow and Batgirl. The former suffers from being in the earlier waves of Funko products and making her look bulkier and less feminine than the live action counterpart hence the ineffective adaptation. The latter has just come out recently originated from the classic television show and despite how well her outfit and overall look turned out in the final product, the only drawback is that cursed stance! It might look uniformed in its wave but outside of it, the stance just look awkward on her. It is just my opinion, though.
