POPs of the day 012 a Zombie, a Voch'khari and a Half-Ogre

We're going down from eyes to the lips, going from purely painted on to the intricately sculpted to mostly wonderful execution and excellent finished product:

Disregarding the quality of the movie itself, the premise is a fresh and exciting mine to dig up a few exciting ideas for a POP!. Even though it is unfortunate there is only one zombie version, it is a great sole sculpt as the skin peeling off the left eye and of course the reveal of the teeth because of the peeled off skin around the mouth are the perfect representation of the popular pop culture genre. The contrast between the paleness of the skin and the redness of the exposed flesh is definitely a plus!

I was disappointed how the colour ended up in the final concept art hence my decision to focus on the sketch instead. I want to focus on the shape of her mouth as I tried to represent her alluring yet no-nonsense personality which I think came across with the eyes helping to convey it. Regarding the source material itself ...

- Worst? - Warcraft's Garona -

Orcs in the Warcraft universe has that distinct colour of green and this particular character is half orc and half human, giving her a mix between the original green and human light brown. That was hard enough to be conveyed convincingly in the live action adaptation and the transition to the smaller version didn't fare well with the light green shade weren't complimented with that poor choice of a blusher. To add icing on the miserable cake, the mouth didn't turn out well as the snaggle teeth and upper lip were bigger than the concept art, adding insult to the injury. It's too bad since her appearance works well just like the other figures in this particular wave. Learn from the mistakes, okay Funko?
