Ralph Breaks the Internet:
Wreck-It Ralph 2
DISNEY
[November 21st, 2018]
Trailer(s) Effectiveness = 90% for showing the casual fans how they are in the same universe as other Disney properties, at least online, teasing it as an entertaining side tangent.
Chance of Success =
85% with inviting invitation back into its world and now with internet in the horizon, the world is their oyster so to speak.

a case for the dive into the online empire of the Mouse:
+ Highlights +
Bringing all of the Disney properties under one roof of their official site by putting Marvel's and Star Wars characters at the same place while finally bringing (almost) all of the Disney princesses together in the same screen! Seeing some in now 3D models compared to their hand-drawn counterpart made my heart grew bigger than ever before. I'm not sure I can take it when I actually see it in the theater ... hey, a grown man can gush to please the child in me!
? Main contention ?
I sincerely hope that they won't spend too much time in the parent company's site and actually putting the online game premise to good use instead of just using the 'online' in that phrase.

Being now two people in a foreign land would bring a lot of possibilities for them to go down in, and I am looking forward to see where they would specifically go in this second iteration.

It might be coincidental for two movie trailers in a row have a commentary on the male-dominated genre while having the prior movies themselves actually stay true to that notion, with Ralph come to Venellope's rescue while Emmet came to Wyldstyle's in the LEGO Movie (truth be told, the female counterparts are actually stronger than their predecessors in the industry and can actually hold up on their own, but they were ultimately saved when their backs were against the wall). It is always good to have the entertainment properties being aware of themselves and how they represent the society but if their actions should be louder than their words.
- Lowlights -
As much as I can justify their action, the detractors would point in the direction of this trailer as the epitome of Disney being a money making machine. Trailer is such a tricky marketing ploy to get right and whether it was cut by the trailer company or mandated by the studio itself, it is an effective effort nonetheless since any publicity is a good publicity.

Well, they actually did address the issue of the clunky title. It might play into the plot of the storyline itself, but they must know how "Ralph Wrecks the Internet" is a better title ... it was referring to an already outdated online phenomenon. They are dating this feature a few years back if they keep at it.
