guilty pleasures Tuesday 002c & misc list 077
Trying to go back to something that I've touched on before instead of creating a new one, here is my third batch of recommendation for podcasts that I keep on going back to at least weekly:
#11: Hollywood Babble-On
+ Endlessly entertaining conversation live in front of crowds between Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman on anything revolves around the show and pop culture and anything in between with their multiple segments. ? It is imperative for you to go to its official site (or search for a fan-made ones) to see what pictures and videos they're referring to throughout each show. If you don't, you're going in blind! Well, one host is high while the other is drunk, so that's the main variable of the show. - The humour while hilarious are still really crude and adult-oriented so viewer/listener discretion is advised.
#12: Doug Loves Movies
+ Laidback fun movie trivia show with a number of guests every episode live in front of crowds with both variables play a big part throughout the recording. ? Every show is different since it is based on the guests and their overall knowledge of the movie industry, which is actually the fun, the mystery and all. Oh yeah, since the host is high, that's a variable that you might want to know, but so far it's been smooth sailing actually. It doesn't hinder his ability to host at all. - That Burt Kreisher incident highlighted his insistence to keep to the show's format since he wants to keep it under control but I can attest that he has loosen the reigns a bit more recently, letting them go long or just conversation-heavy without all the games every once in a while.
#13: the Cracked Podcast
+ Informational podcast on anything under the sun from pop culture to world history based on the articles they cover on their site. ? Another random variable at hand, giving you anxiety or wonder everytime you check for another podcast. - If you want them to cover just one specific topic for more than just an episode, there is a small chance sometimes that you might find a couple more in their catalog since they jump around quite frequently.
#14: Idle Weekend
+ Laidback in-depth discussion between the co-hosts on what games are to the society, specifically what the culture is and they cover whether intrinsically or extrinsically. ? Sometimes they might have a specific topic they are focusing on and sometimes it is just random assortments of topics based on the games they're playing. - The pace is really comparatively slower with the other podcasts here on the list, so maybe it might be for you if you want to listen to it when you're ... just idling.
+ In-depth discussion among the panels of hosts on the ongoing PC industry as a whole and the games that are out or still in Early Access. ? Between the games of the week to sometimes in-depth interview of developers, it is quite a diverse and deep listen as an insight into the show. - I always find they are just a bit quieter compared to other podcasts ... I can't blast it off the laptop, forcing me to plug in my earphones and just sit there.
#16: Edumacation
+ Quite an educational listen with Kevin Smith and Andy McElfresh that try to educate the former with knowledge of the world. ? Sure they have segments but the fun of it for me is when they begin to meander off topics. Oh love the recent Bane standup segment! - Yeah, if you're not used to his humour already, it might take time to get used to.
#17: Important If True
+ What-if topics being discussed by three hosts that is willing to expand their mind and explore all possibilities. ? So much topic in pop culture that they cover all parts of the spectrum. - It is mostly a nonsensical discussion that might not educate you at all but it is just so fun listening though.

Well, that's all folks! Thank you for your time and please do come back for my future posts! :-)
