Ever since the first handheld flick of an alien invasion back in 2008, Cloverfied is a surprising start for a monster franchise that have its ups and downs to put it mildly. The building of the shared universe could be argued to be tacked on rather than a natural progression with 10 Cloverfield Lane being in and of itself an excellent human thriller without the ending while the most recent Cloverfield Paradox is a more haphazard put together script that had its own concept before being retroactively introduced the extra elements into it, for better or for worse. Rather than creating its own film by building it up from the ground up before trying to fit other scripts and concepts into it, they effectively crippled the franchise's validity in the eyes of the audiences. Well, maybe if this Megan fan film came into reality as the one to connect all of them, they might just have turn it around for the better. If you've seen the effective short, you will be surprised by its studio-level quality and production value and I won't be surprised if you mistaken it as a valid teaser from the Bad Robots Studio itself. I can't say anything bad about it really since it is excellently executed and would fit into the Cloverfield universe like a glove, better than the previous attempts possibly.

it is more of a teaser with only the introduction shown in the short right before the title of the film comes out. I would love to see its full length version!
