An introductory video of the new iteration of the immensely popular space opera RPG trilogy that revolved around Commander Shepherd although this new journey would start years after the event in Mass Effect 3. The style of the video itself was a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the old school space videos accompanied by inspirational speeches, although the tie-ins from the Commander's journey can be seen on the male protagonist' suit and the huge space station that's similar to the Mass Effect Relay but it's just a guess.

- Plot -
The game takes place 600 years after the events of the first three Mass Effect games, in the Andromeda Galaxy. Players choose from either a male or a female sibling with the other continuing to feature in the story. They are the children of Alec Ryder – an N7 Agent – and designated as a Pathfinder, an operative tasked with discovering new planets for the Human species to colonize as featured in the 2015 N7 day trailer. They will explore an open world galaxy aboard the starship Tempest.
