my Pet Peeve 001 Full Beam Headlights

my Pet Peeves 001
Full Beam Headlight
What?
I know, it is there already installed to provide the maximum amount of light to help you navigate the road safely at night ... but when you can see another vehicle approaching from the opposite direction, would you keep it on without taking into consideration that other person's line of sight?!
Who?
anybody really, but I experienced more coming from the more expensive cars and the ones with white(!) lights! It has been regulated to have the more subdued yellow lights to ensure the least harmful beam to other road users ... so why do they keep using them?!
How?
I tried to put myself in their shoes ... yeah, you can't see road in front you and use what is available to you to ease your journey, but when you see the incoming light, doesn't it even across your mind how you're affecting the other person's vision? Never at all?
Why?
maybe just ignorance to the fullest degree ... or just to spite others, trying to show off who's 'the boss' or something ...
Then?
look, I don't mind the use of headlights when it's pitch dark and it helps your driving ... but try to be civil and turn the lights off just for a moment until the vehicle from the opposite direction passes you by.
So?
I always try to signal the other guy on their intruding headlights by blinking my own lights a couple of times but mostly they ignored me ... that's why I try to give them a taste of their medicine by turning on my full beam so we both would go down in flames. Sure, it's wrong but how could I get through to these types of people?

Oh ... that's one way to do it.

Lesson Learned:
Please be mindful of others when using your full beam headlights ... before something bad happens.
