What?

An observation on the nature of the English language and how it can be used in a certain way.

Who?

Hm ... just a nondescript guy on the twitter, I guess. (Please let me know if I'm wrong!)

Why?

Maybe just to highlight tongue in cheek how the language could be weird as it is in and of itself or purposely manipulated to be so and even confusing in some aspects.

Then?

I am learning English as a second language and always trying to use it everyday, and this particular play on words delights me to no end.

So?

Be honest with me: how long did you take to read through that literal tongue and brain twister? I honestly took about five seconds, reading the words one by one and emphasized the different pronunciations even in my head. Here's my attempt on a tongue and brain twister:

"I am thinking of a thin thing titling its till."
Well ... it doesn't make much sense, though ...

Lesson Learned:

"English can be tricky to some and be troublesome to you when it wants to."
