Good boy!

Trailer Review 049
Inhumans
Marvel
[September 1st {IMAX} and 29th {abc}]
Trailer Effectiveness =
just around 70% since it looks well enough but just short of movie quality
Chance of Success =
hm ... below 70% because of the rough first impression and Iron Fist withdrawal
a case for the trailer:
+ Highlights +
Hm ... Lockjaw looks amazing! Oh, Iwan Rheon seemed perfectly casted as Maximus as the traitorous brother ... Anson Mount looks like a leader fighting an inner conflict to serve his kingdom and the glimpses of action on (presumably) Earth's forest with the missing Triton against gun-toting enemies and Lockjaw's (how cute is he?!) teleportation special effect at least tease of something better down the line hopefully.

? Main contention ?
It's an early look and there are still time before its big screen premiere for post-production VFX and special effect works to be done behind the scene although first impression always matter and this trailer didn't really put their best foot forward for this IP.

- Lowlights -
Compared to other more cinematic and visually pleasing television shows that looked better with much less budget i.e. Hannibal, American Gods and Legion, it certainly didn't meet expectation and its potential as early as this is, for example the Medusa's lackluster hair/wig and the bland Attilan,
~
The constraint of the budget of an inflated television project with the financial backing of IMAX could certainly be seen without the usually familiar aesthetic and sheen of Marvel's movie, for better or for worse making the informed audience reimagining of what might have been: a full silver screen treatment this property is better suited for.

- Synopsis -
After a military coup, the Inhuman Royal Family escape to Hawaii where they must save themselves and the world.
