Getting Started 017 Spider-Man's New Unnamed Suit [Marvel x Sony]
If you still haven't watch the most recent big screen iteration of the webslinger, you will be spoiled on the reveal of the new suit itself hence the cautionary image above. You have been warned!
Granted it wasn't fully coloured yet, but this is the basic(?) design for the new Spider-Man suit that Tony Stark created another one for him. Yes, an official image of it hasn't been released yet but I based it on a really detailed concept art that looks almost identical if compared side to side to the image still from the movie itself.
I can't get a good look of the leg portion of the suit though so I had to base it on the glove design since they usually go hand in hand. It was really hard to draw the particular shape of the spider emblem going across the body especially since I had to work on such a limited space on the Funko Pop sculpt that I try to be more accurate to the real life proportion of the designs.
I was regretting doing this suit because of all the details and the signature web design of Spider-Man but in the end, the finished product was worth it. Now the dreaded colouring phase is coming and I don't know if it would look better or worse after that ... so stay tuned and find out later!
