Equality in ideality versus reality.

What?
A dramatization of Louis C.K.'s approach on how to teach his daughter to view the world through his realistic perspective.

Why?

The usual convention of childrearing is to give your children everything that they ask without considering your own financial state to avoid complication or negative feedback from them but in this particular case, the daughter is smarter than her age would indicate hence Louie's willingness to be frank with her about the reality of life and hopefully instill a proper lesson in the process.

Then? So?

If you understand how your children's thinking process works, the fear of bumming them out with the harsh reality should be allayed with their own ability to accept that each people lives their life differently from others affected largely by their monetary values and properties. In the end, not everything that you want you would get and they need to learn to accept it sooner or later.
