It's been awhile...

Since I've been filling in my time the most by watching a lot of Youtube videos, there's a bit of know-how that I would want to empart that I think would help you...:

#079: one step at a time

If you're just starting venturing into the platform, you might don't know where to start since it appears to be virtually endless and daunting in its vastness. Well, just take one step at a time and if the recommended page does not suit your fancy, try to search for something that is of interest to you, search for topics that you are invested in.

#080: popular does not equal universal

Well, if you see the list without doing any change to the setting, you'll see them being listed from the top down by the most viewed or 'trending'. Speaking from experience, these videos might not to be to your liking at all despite them being massively popular on the site. Do experiment with all the Youtubers despite their 'standings'. You'll never know!

#081: be mindful of you're clicking...

Speaking of which, I do want you to be mindful of their automated algorithms. When you're watching a video, do you see the recommended section also there on the right side of the screen? Please be careful of what you're clicking since your decisions will decide what will be recommended to you in the future, especially if you're watching with your own account. That is a wormhole that you might don't want to go through...
