One page at a time...
manga check-in 001/ 1st week of June, 2019
This is taking way longer than I intended... there's still a lot more to come! This will more organised later.
...
Aku no Hana| Battle Angel Alita: Last Order | Black Clover | Boku no Hero Academia | Gunnm Gaiden | Gunnm Mars Chronicle | Little Witch Academia | Nanatsu no Taizai | Switch Girl!!
Aku no Hana is something that I really don't know where it will go... just right into Chapter Six and it's been a wild ride so far!
Black Clover resembles a lot of popular mangas from the rivalries of the characters and down to their characteristics but the set up chapter is intriguing enough and knowing that it is a long-running series makes me want to go on a journey of the title's development.
Boku no Hero Academia is introduced into my life by its anime first and now knowing it is an adaptation makes me want to see where it originated. The One-shot is a great proof of concept and how it differs with the actual series makes me appreciate the process even more. The anime has been impeccable and I wish the originator is too.
Gunnm or Alita: Battle Angel is one tricky property to wrap my head around, not because of the world and the characters (that are excellent by the way) but rather the timeline of the many different offshoots there are. Even with the wikipedia handy, I'm still figuring it out but I need to emphasize the action is second to none!
Little Witch Academia is another property that the manga comes second into my life and I'm always left speechless how some of these transition seamlessly from the static drawings on the pages into the moving animation medium. I really enjoy the anime overall and I know I will enjoy the manga as well!
Nanatsu no Taizai is a bit more fantasy heavy with European aesthetic which is a nice change of pace and the over the top action and the concept just makes it a perfect storm for me. I did not appreciate the groping happening in the pilot chapter though (will this keep on happening throughout...?).
Switch Girl is just something that I stumble into that makes me laugh with its quirkiness. This shoujo style is never my favourite but I appreciate the humour first and foremost.

Internet really help me to diversify what kind of mangas that I can read... there's still so much more to delve into!
