sneaking past the guardians to not wake the sleeping dogs

Game News:
cat simulator game HK, Guardians of the Galaxy the Telltale Series Pictures & Sleeping Dogs' Donnie Yen movie adaptation

HK
two humans and two cats
["a few more years ..."]

Chance of Success =
definitely over 80% for the potential but just 65% because of its small team
-
a case for the unique premise:
+ Positive +
a simple premise yet hard to reinterpret that would appeal to a lot of the demographic especially if they're using the same mechanic as Inside without any dialogue and only visual storytelling,
? Main contention ?
that small duo team is too small to have us expecting something in the immediate future but they have been making an excellent use of the Unreal engine... it's only a matter of time before we're seeing more and it's novel of them to not ask for any monetary support, just positive feedback.
- Negative -
nothing playable yet, but one can wait ....

Chance of Success =
definitely over 90% if previous successful adaptations were to be believed

Award-winning developer and publisher of digital entertainment, Telltale Games, along with Marvel Entertainment, today shared the world-first screenshots and cast details for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, set to premiere digitally this Spring on consoles, PC, and mobile devices.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is a brand new story of the universe's unlikeliest heroes: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. Sleeping Dogs' Donnie Yen
[2018?]
Chance of Success =
well above 90% but a full trailer would be a clear indication.

Who best to start a new IP for Neal Moritz’s Original Film (Fast and Furious) than the IP Man himself? Martial artist Donnie Yen is set to star in a new feature from Moritz entitled Sleeping Dogs, which is based on the top-selling video game by Square Enix.
Yen, who recently co-starred in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and xXx: Return of Xander Cage, follows an undercover police officer (Yen) on a mission to take down one of the most powerful and dangerous criminal organizations in the world: the notorious Triads. The movie based on an action video game is set in Hong Kong and focuses on martial arts fighting, racing, boat chases … and shooting while doing all of that.
Yen, a Chinese martial artist, has long been a fight choreographer and is probably best known to audiences as the star — and Wing Chun grandmaster — of the IP Man franchise. Original Film is producing with DJ2 Entertainment, specifically producers will be Moritz, Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons with Toby Ascher and Stephan Bugaj executive producing.

-
a case for the franchise:
+ Positive +
a successful third person action GTA clone predominantly set in Asia and highlighting the criminal underworld without undermining any of the culture and society,
? Main contention ?
a lot of the storyline is always interesting to play in but as many of the unsuccessful game adaptations before have proven, it wouldn't be a seamless transition from one medium to another,
- Negative -
the franchise itself has its fair share of critics because of its sub-par graphics and other insecurities  but later addressed in an improved 2014 version yet its spin-off, Triad Wars, cancelled mid-way,
not many of Asia has been properly adapted or represented in the industry, always being used for nefarious reasons and amplifying the negative aspects to attract like minded players who likes the violence rather than the more intriguing matter that they could explore.

--
a case for the official announcement:
+ Positive +
a bona fide leading producer in the industry in Neal Moritz (the Fast and the Furious franchise) is capable in making another full-fledged action blockbuster in the same ilk while they find just the right capable lead in Donnie Yen (Ip Man series and Rogue One as well as dozens of martial art heavy movies) that now have amass a lot of experience in his longstanding career to lead,
? Main contention ?
his leading performance in the Ip Man series showed his capabilities and he could look as the lead character in the game despite the presumed difference in age, while no solid casting as of yet to support him, the voice overs of the game could come back to portray their roles in real life in Emma Stone and Lucy Liu,
