we all have something we share with each other ...

All That We Share
from TV2Danmark
What?
A commercial for a television channel in Denmark that's not making itself the priority, focusing instead on the subject of unity and how unfortunately it has been sorely missing in today's society.
Who?
People from all walks of life from the young to the old with different ethnicity and race, looking as unlikely as others, they could be judged solely on their appearances but the video wanted to focus instead on what matters: on the inside.
How?
As much as we differ from how we look and what we do, there's always something underneath that we could relate with each other because we all live in this world doing our best as an individual to survive and experience the world as a human being hence these overlapping between them from the different groups shown in the video, visually telling the viewer that we're not so different from each other after all and even if we were, we would acknowledged and applauded those who were different and had the courage to stand by it.
Why?
Too much segregation and altercations between people nowadays and with media sensationalizing everything and putting more spotlight on these incidences not to fix it but only to follow the trends, this issue would be in people's minds more than usual and without any step being brought up on the televisions, they would only learn and talk on how far it has gone but not discussing what they could do to fight it, with a positive outlook given on the situation just like this channel being a gentle reminder of who we are really deep inside.
Then?
Although the point of view of this particular video is from the Dane's, we could and we should take this approach and use it from our own perspective, seeing anybody else as just a human being trying to live their life and they sometimes have the same life experience as yours and even if they didn't and had a different viewpoint than yours, respect them all the same.
So?
This perfect visual representation of a country with citizens that are as similar as they are different to each other and that is just fine, living together in harmony by pushing away prejudices and embrace the diversity.
Lesson Learned:
"We are as similar as we are different to each other deep inside."
