+ Positives +
a truly unique premise that would truly push the boundaries of what could happen in the MCU specifically in the small screen with a diverse cast and more diverse abilities.
? Main contention ?
wanting to appeal to the younger demography, the teen genre is the perfect place to after Netflix's more adult oriented shows and themes although this sub-genre has been a mixed bag recently and they need to find a good balance and not let the teen drama overshadow their particular superpowers.
with the MCU recently delved into the Multiverse with Doctor Strange, this brave direction by the studio could foreshadow how far they would adapt the original extraordinary
- Negatives -
a big risk for Marvel to diverge away from their proven formula and adding a new sub-genre into the fold and possibly a fruitful partnership with hulu just like with Netflix.
the inevitable dumbing down or simplification of the original premise since it involves a lot of concepts and characters from the Marvel Comics, with the mutant member (most possibly) changes to Inhuman and the genetically created dinasour i.e. Velociraptor would be used sparingly or (gasp!) not included at all in the show with the cost of CGI or even puppetry could really affect the budget.

after abc's series gaining traction and use it as a stepping stone for Netflix to produce a series of shows that have their own particular tone and style, it is a successful venture into the new medium by adding more layers to the MCU and adding more humane, flawed characters people could relate to.
? Main contention ?
the cutthroat mentality of the television industry whereby success is measured in viewership ratings instead of the movie's box office (with Agent Carter the first casualty), their more limited medium (especially with channel-specific shows) and unreliable rating system severely handicap these shows and would limit them from diverging from the usual repetitive formula.

having to find its footing in the earlier seasons of Agents of SHIELD, their first foray into the small screen was shaky but solid although Agent Carter's two seasons are entertaining and charming, it got cancelled prematurely because they can't find the audiences on abc.
