always a trick up his sleeve ...

short of the day 003
Han Solo a Smuggler's Trade
duration: 13 min 46 sec, released: December 11th, 2016
What?
An online personality and well known impersonator led a short film revolving around the infamous smuggler, Han Solo.
Who?
Jamie Costa perfectly embodies the iconic character complete with the wardrobe & swagger to boot.
How?
A collaboration of sorts with the online community of Star Wars fans, coming together to honor the franchise that have become a part of their lives.
Why?
Mostly in response to the next spin-off movie in the universe after Rogue One where it would go through the reluctant hero's earlier adventure with Chewbacca as well as Lando Calrissian.
Then?
With the undying love for the one of the most recognized universe in the pop culture from all around the world, you should always support the fellow fans' work as a fitting tribute.
So?
Regardless of the finish product (and this particular shot is a really well made and executed project), it is always nice to see an amateur production like this that goes that extra miles for the better.

+ Positive +
a perfect impression of the original character, a really well shot short on location and with perfect costuming and set design with the fitting score to boot.
? Main contention ?
the duration could've been edited to be shorter but it's excellent as it is.
- Negative -
Only an impression ... I hope Alden Ehrenreich could hold a full length movie on his own.
- Synopsis -
A young smuggler by the name of Han Solo is on a mission to rescue his pal Chewbacca. Which of course brings some trouble along the way...
