Okay, light then. Let's find some kindling ...

Don't wander too far from your spot, okay? That warning from the narrator like a worried parent would not be taken lightly, designating a perimeter to themselves that is not too far from the central point of the bag and the shield that it won't be out of sight at any moment that they wander off to find that possible source of fire. And the adventurer did just that, slowly approaching the edge of the forest while scanning through the ground for any broken branches in reach to be used as kindling later. Only being able to pick up a couple of them while looking back to their property back once in awhile, they begin to pick up the pace once they are approaching the trees and twigs start to come into view all over the forest floor. Worrying about the gradually decreasing sunlight as well as their surroundings, they try not to waste any more time than they should while picking up an adequate amount to at least last past the day. After a few moments humping his body down in return of vital heat source throughout the night, they arch his body back up to counter the strain while holding tightly the bundle in his cradle that they believe to be enough. They turn back towards their spot in the middle of the field with their respective gears that are thankfully still there, then begin to walk towards it before hearing a sound directly right behind them, stopping them right in their tracks only a couple of steps in. Not knowing what to make of it, they are not sure whether or not to turn around or leg it out of there! Which one would you choose, dear adventurer?
