00. obituary: Carol Penny Marshall {October 15th, 1943 - December 17th, 2018}
Penny Marshall, who starred alongside Cindy Williams in the hit ABC comedy “Laverne & Shirley” and then became a successful director in Big and Awakenings, died on Monday night at her Hollywood Hills home due to complications from diabetes. Full bio.
That opening scene on Cybertron should be a whole movie on its own but I just want to highlight how faithful they are going with the Transformer's designs!
I really enjoy this series as a weekly mind exercise while being entertained by these charming duo and while it's unfortunate that it has to end, but at least it is ending on its own terms. This is what Sherlock Holmes should be, not that abomination currently in theaters now! I wish both of them success!

01. Aladdin's first official look & set images
There you go, the first official look of the main protagonists, with Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and of course, Will Smith as the Genie. Live action adaptation of cult classics will always be met with scrutiny especially if the original has one of the best performances by the late Robin Williams. While the teaser doesn't show much (doing its job in teasing the project in my eyes), we now see Will Smith trying to fill in the shoes of the aforementioned comedian here, and it is now cleared by the director Guy Ritchie that it is him in his human disguise, probably trying to blend in while talking to Aladdin in the crowd unlike in the original. I'm pretty sure when they see him finally in his true blue form, there will always be backlash whether he looks good or not in the final product. Photoshoot will never look as good as in the film ...

05. Elementary ending in upcoming seventh seasonI really enjoy this series as a weekly mind exercise while being entertained by these charming duo and while it's unfortunate that it has to end, but at least it is ending on its own terms. This is what Sherlock Holmes should be, not that abomination currently in theaters now! I wish both of them success!

07. Hellboy's reboot [April 12th]
Hm ... is it fair to say it looks different with Guillermo's? Won't go as far as inferior ... positive or negative?
-------
08. Men in Black: International's first look & trailer [June 14th]
The chemistry between Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson transfers well from Ragnarok to here. Now with Liam Neeson appropriately filling in Tommy Lee Jones' shoes, this soft reboot looks like a lot of fun judging from the trailer.

10. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: a Very Spidey Christmas Album.
Well, they actually did it! Wow!

Here is something that I didn't know I want until now!
