Blame the glaze, not the filling
off of CollegeHumor
What? Who?
The current climate of the rise of low-fat products is based on the shift of blame from the real culprit of sugar to fat, the latter is more vital in people's daily diet for the body to function properly while the former is mainly serves as additional energy supplement and the overabundance of them would affect the body negatively.
How? Why?
As indicated in the video, it was strictly business from the viewpoint of the sugar producers and owners and their early efforts to turn the uneducated consumer's attention towards the other group pf food paid unhealthy dividend and in turns affected the health of American citizens and worldwide.
Then?
Now with the backing of scientific studies and reports, the effort to educate the masses on what they are eating is starting to build momentum although decades of industry-building around sugar couldn't be fought and won overnight.
So?
Rather than accepting wholeheartedly what is advertised to you, it is better to be well informed on what you putting in your body and how it is affecting yourself.

Lesson Learned:
"Branding alone doesn't tell you the whole truth and you should know why."
