a diagnosis by total strangers
from imgur
What?
An innocent post by an imgurian (yes, that's a word, for us the users) of her own condition led to some helpful suggestive diagnosis by the educated community.
Who?
Just a random person wanted to share her journey in following her passion and how a constant condition she's suffering from kept her down every time but she persevered every time.
How?
Through sheer passion and relentless spirit, I guess.
Why?
It had to be hard to live her life and suffered continuously under a mysterious condition that hindered her from pursuing her dream and the (sometimes) helpful community's suggestion pushed her to give it a go and test for it ... and what do you know, that's exactly it!
Although that rare genetic disease, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, doesn't actually have any cure and would keep affecting her every now and then, she was still feeling appreciative being able to finally put an already established name on her condition.
So?
Not really a classic fairy tale where her condition is diagnosed and cured fully with the help of total strangers but it is just the next best thing for the girl in question. She ended her post (please read it by following the link above) by encouraging others to follow their own dreams regardless of the endless obstacles in front of them. I would follow suit and echo the same sentiment: do what you are passionate about and follow your dreams!

Lesson Learned:
"Not everything can be perfect ... you should be glad for the next best thing."
