Move, offer, stare or still?

... I guess it's too much to wish for one after the other...
Better be grateful of what you did get then! After the narrator jests about their circumstances, the adventurer just close their eyes and breathes out a sigh of relief or rather resignation, then slowly but surely inches their way across the ledge alongside the rocky mountain. Not a moment too soon, they come across a bird standing in their way, seemingly staring blankly towards them. This crow... or raven(?) is not moving at all, seemingly just waiting for the opposing human to react at all in any shape or form. Well, I guess you have to now. Should you stare back, having some sort of a staredown with it? You could try inching closer and see what happen next... or give it the aforementioned seed as an offering, killing two birds with one stone, so to speak. Or you could just not do anything at all, staring into the abyss and hope it will just go away. Decide now. Tick. Tock.
Move, offer, stare or still? Decisions, decisions. In the end, they decided to...?
