Well, that didn't pan out...
I don't know why but I do love watching football, the original football and not the American one. Having watched a lot of the recap shows, I found some things that I enjoy and some things that I don't...:
#179: the journey, not the destination
Since the EPL Highlights is the first recap show, I am so used to the format right now that any straying of the exact formula would really disturb my enjoyment of the recap. Case in point, the La Liga one always spoil the results of all the matches of the week at the front and while maybe knowing the results is the main reason to tune in for most people, I actually do enjoy the experience of going through the journey of watching each match and finding out the result after watching all the highlights. Having something to look forward to is key here for me.
#180: did I do that?
By the way, I can't stand when the players are being disingenuous on the field, especially after fouling opponents and feigning ignorance. Don't scream at the referee, you're the one that's hurting the other player! Don't you know you're being filmed at all times on the field? Don't you think with the high definition cameras we won't be able to see your blatant roughing?!
#181: award-worthy performance
Oh, speaking of which, I give my middle fingers on the direction of players that are diving and play-acting despite being touched in minuscule amount or maybe even none at all. The VAR would really help in this situation but when these cheaters could get away with it, whether to get a penalty or to get the opponents sent off, this really goes against the spirit of the game. If you're being told to do so by the coaches or it is out of your own volition, I am just sick to stomach to know so.

Well, that's all folks! Thank you for your time and please do come back for my future posts! :-)
