"Somebody is going to kill me tonight."
Happy Death Day
Mini Review
[19th of October, 2017]
The newcomer Jessica Rothe shows her capability as an actress as we follow her journey to find the answers and in conjunction seeing her progression from a shallow unlovable b-word to a more well-rounded and sympathetic individual, with the constant reanimations taking its toll on her and affect her physically and psychologically and her performance made us believe that! The constant feeling of dread of the oncoming threat of guaranteed death was feeling fresh every time it happened all because of the director Christopher B. Landon among other positive things. He ultimately created a solid horror flick that despite a couple of drawbacks such as the rather unfulfilling reveal after the entertaining first two acts, it was an effective viewing experience.
