News 002 Batman the Telltale Series

Batman the Telltale Series [Summer 2016] Chance of Success =  85%

"We've been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City. The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature 'Telltale' role-playing experience, and we couldn't be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer."

~ Telltale's time-tested and proven formula, being honed almost to perfection which is proven in its games' sales but running the risk of treading the same old ground and get the returning Telltale players bored of the monotony and lack of innovation, although the new engine make the in-game characters look better and smoother for now

~ A rich lore of a well-known franchise full of interesting storylines to be based on especially with its diverse gallery of rogues as well as the complex familial ties surrounding the hooded vigilante

~ A different approach on an iconic superhero that was recently brought to life wonderfully in the Arkham series, possibly focusing in more on the detective side of the Dark Knight, which is confirmed by the released casting list and characters that revolved around the bureaucracy rather than the extraordinary villains themselves

~ With a number of games that has been produced, still in production and going to be produced, the studio is risking itself being spread too thin and having less focus on each series, albeit it is highly unlikely right now considering how critically acclaimed their products as of now

Avesta's hug of Batman the first time appears to be the same animation as the "embrace her" option, albeit with Batman initially taken by surprise before he hugs her back.

Is it weird that when Avesta hugged Batman the first time, before they fall into the cage, I was surprised that Batman hugs her back? I half expected him to just stand there and wait for it to be over... I mean... I guess the super-heroly thing to do would be to hug the hostage in their time of need... totally broke the immersion of my emo-bat though. lol.
