~ A highly regarded anime classic that is revered in Japan and the enthusiasts around the world while the concept is ripe for a faithful live action adaptation, this particular attempt by a western company is met with much derision because of the apparent disrespect of the original material by the perceived location change and 'whitewashing,' with the recently released picture of the main character bringing up the subject again despite the rather diverse and location-appopriate cast
