Marvel's Daredevil s02e03 New York's Finest [2016] 4.5/5
[Highlight for spoiler] > A forced conversation between the two vigilantes who have the same end goals but different and clashing methods and ideologies to achieve it, almost beat for beat a straight adaptation of their infamous encounter in the "Welcome Back Frank" comic book storyline. With Catholicism and their own way of interpreting this belief regarding sins and redemption, Daredevil held onto the concept of every life is worthy while the Punisher laid down the punishment himself on the sinful criminals. Meanwhile when it was necessary, Castle turned on his charm when he needed things to go his way i.e. in front of a former war veteran (a nod to his original origin of Vietnam veteran) but Murdock could see through his facade with the gun pointed on the unsuspecting apartment resident. Then the moral ultimatum given by the vet to force the lawyer cum vigilante's hand to withhold his belief but it was all for naught in the end.
