"An engaging third person action game franchise being brought to life in a live action interpretation of it with tactile action of parkour and hand-to-hand combat but rather hazy storyline and the incongruous music behind it."

~ A first look into this anticipated adaptation of the celebrated game franchise aside from the other this year (Warcraft) with the now iconic and stylistic direction and cinematography duo from Macbeth appeared to be seamlessly transferred to this movie with kinetic hand-to-hand combat and flowing parkour scenes that was straight out of the game's mechanics but with the unfortunately incongruous pairing of the jarring music behind it that didn't help clearing up the rather hazy storyline
+ Almost faithful adaptation of the original material with the parkour movement and hand-to-hand combat but the alteration to the game's mythology could affect the gaming audiences' perspective on it such as the the more 'tactile' Animus and its bleaker facilities as well as the timeline it went back to first which could be linked to the decision to have the most cinematic first look into this world
