In the aftermath of the betrayal, the few who were still on his side defended his body with the now released Dire Wolf while the main perpetrator rounded up the guilty party and the others who were caught in the middle to stand against the deceased Lord Commander's reign despite everything that he achieved in the wake of Hardhome, in the name of Night's Watch disregarding the imminent threat of the While Walkers as the Red Priestess returned dejected after the big crushing defeat at Winterfell, having her faith being betrayed by the God of Light which is punctuated by the reveal of her real physical self and age by taking off the necklace with the glamour magic.

Ramsay Bolton's wonderfully morbid yet nostalgic eulogy for his departed 'friend', Myranda followed by the hunt for the escaping "Reek" or Theon Greyjoy now and Sansa Stark to ensure his claim for the throne is not jeopardized and as hard as the intended targets tried, they were tracked down but before it takes the turn for the worse, Brienne of Tarth and his ever improving squire, Podrick Payne, came to the rescue by clashing swords with them to the death and followed it with her continued tradition of offering her service to another lady Stark.
(Highlights: the ever 'charming' Ramsay Bolton, the long-awaited hug between the two fugitives, the always reliable Brienne and now Podrick, with his own help for the speech and Theon wielding back a sword competently, Lowlights: the sudden disappearance of the hounds)

- the King's Landing -
Coming through the harrowing and demeaning public confession or rather humiliation through the streets of King's Landing, Cersei was overjoyed by the news of her daughter's arrival but then progressively got overwhelmed with dread and sadness when she found out the state she was returned in, reminiscing of her concept of death in the family and the only good things coming out of her life (i.e. the kids especially the daughter) as well as the prophecy or curse that still lingers on her mind, then being consoled by her brother to avenge her death.
Lady Margaery was still locked up despite her renowned title and while being tormented by Septa Unella, she was still insisting to know her brother's fate but a visit by the High Sparrow reminded her of her sinful ways and her journey has just begun.
(Highlights: the perfect portrayal of Cersei by Lena Headey such as the progressing change in expressions at the dock, the reminiscence scene in the castle & the outpouring of emotion of losing the only good thing in her life)

Prince Doran was oblivious of his reign's eventual demise in the hands of Ellaria and her daughters which was executed after the reveal of the 'kiss of death' assassination with the help of her daughter here and the other two on board of the ship his son was on.
(Highlights: the gory, spot-on violence, Lowlights: the undermining of the prince's character that's portrayed to be more active in the book and the bodyguard that's wasted, with the disdain of the Dorne people towards him was only mentioned while the Sand Snakess still don't live up to their potential)[Scene Highlights: the last look of Dorne]
- Mereen -
The always delightful duo of Tyrion and Varys walking around the ground of Meereen to interact fist hand with the subjects but fooling no one with their 'disguises' and no guards to defend them in the chaotic nature the city was left in after the arranged attack by the Sons of Harpy and the forced departure of their Queen, leaving the citizens without their savior and defenseless against the latest attack by them.
The two admirers in pursuit of their target with the optimistic Daario looking forward to world conquered by the object of their affections but the more seasoned and world-weary Ser Jorah grounded his ambitious yet naive expectation of the future, especially with his own lethal greyscale infection spreading slowly through his body as he found the clues left behind by the dragon and the rider in the shape of her ring.
The capture of Daenerys by the Dothrakis on horseback without her true identity being exposed yet played to her advantage but when she played the card eventually, it didn't go her way, that was until the mention of her previous marriage with Khal Drogo but that was followed with a unavoidable return trip to the the place where that wedding took place, where it all began.

After being consumed with revenge for her family by using the skills learned from the Many-Faced God and crossing off a name from her list, none of it was approved by the God and her sights were taken and left to beg on the streets of Bravos, with the Waif started to challenge her daily for a stick duel with Arya who was terrified of her current condition and now this physical test.
