Evolution of the Moon
a quick overview of how the moon orbiting our Earth came to be based on educated guesses by our scientists according to the information collected over the years.
How?
with the momentous event of reaching the moon ourselves, everything that we gathered by way of observation from afar, first hand experience and the use of advanced technology certainly helped us in understanding its characteristics and how it got them in the first place.
Why?
its gravity pulls on the ocean and creates tides and although its effects is limited to just that, we could see how much it endured in the past that retrospectively to serve the planet we're living in.
Then?
as in previous posts, having a visual representation is always better and seeing one for the inception of the moon is putting it in the much grander perspective of the galaxy as a whole and that everything that's present currently in our universe always comes from somewhere and while we can't go back to see it for ourselves, the next best thing is to make educated guesses to better understand everything surrounding us.
As our Earth also has its own devastating history, we should take some time to better educate ourselves on how our moon and other planets materialized so that you would better understand everything and do not take anything for granted.
Lesson Learned:
Everything is calm now in our timeline but it doesn't mean we or rather our planet and moon didn't suffer much in the past.
