"Let Us Re-Accommodate You!"

topic of the day 013
United Airlines' disregard of their own Passengers
What?
After all of the passengers were already on board and seated ready to takeoff, United Airlines decided to bring on board four of their own workers and after their effort to coax them to give up their seats with increasing monetary compensation proved unsuccessful, their decision to randomly pick any four of their customers was reluctantly accepted by the first casualties of a couple but when the second didn't appeared to be complying, that's when this incident in the above video started to happen.
Who?
It was the airlines' fault of continuing the industry's worst nature of overbooking their flights and in this particular instance, it was handled in the worst way possible as they decided in the last minute to halt a flight already ready to take off with the passengers rearing to go their destination they have paid obscene amount of money to go to, as fast as they could in the shortest amount of time.
How?
Not only the way they treated the people on board without even caring how much their own mistake and wrong decision would affect them, their insistence to carry it out with any means necessary whether it's following protocol or not was executed in the worst way possible with unnecessary roughness which resulted in an accidental head injury and concussion. This happened when one of the airline worker forcefully extract the unfortunate singled out passenger out of his seat and since he was unable to move his hands that were stuck to his side, he was brought over the aisle and landed head first onto the armrest of the seat beside his, knocking him out instantly.
Why?
They just do not care, at all and it could clearly be seen in the response of the United's CEO after this whole predicament went viral and mass media started to cover it. He clearly didn't acknowledge any wrongdoing in the action of the company and only viewed it as an unfortunate reaccommodation although all the evidences have been showing otherwise.
Then?
His reaction shows just how much this practice of theirs would continue to be done in the foreseeable future since they know their services are sought and needed by the citizens no matter the cost in dollars or in the expense of their comfort in travelling.
So?
It is clear that they do not care whether or not their actions would be recorded and shared in the social media since they would keep on doing it but with this unfortunate injury suffered by the doctor who just wanted to stay on the flight to see his patients the next day (no matter his race and prior criminal records), it would put a bigger spotlight on this ongoing trend and with him poised to sue the airline, we might see it probably be rectified by the government in favor of the helpless.
Lesson Learned:
It's all fun and games ... until someone was forced out of the seat and concuss himself.
