I wanted to give it a try.

I know it won't happen as I wish magically the first time. It didn't.

And then for the second time as well. Then the third.

Oh, the fourth almost did but didn't rise at all in the end.

But it felt so good in my hands when I knead it! The warmth and the changes in texture actually informed me that I actually did the right thing, for once.

Yes, I'm learning to bake by myself!

Using the online instructions would paid off dividend sooner or later...

P.S. I am using old flour though... did that affect the dough somehow?
