Okay, here's that point-based approach in effect...

Quick Review
I'll never catch up, but at least I'm moving...
Jinny def. Piper Niven to become the No. 1 Contender to the NXT UK Women's Championship [2.5/5]
Solid backstory, with added intensity that's justified - aggression used against her by the more cunning opponent - added complexity with the arrival of a helping hand at her side.
+ Good aftermath. + ? Leaving Piper on a limbo right away... but that's the storyline they're going for so let's not be hasty? - Would have love to see them really going at it rather than being cut short. -

Dave Mastiff def. Saxon Huxley [3/5]
Classic big vs big scenario, one large yet agile and one strong yet a bit unhinged - nice conclusion of hero saving the say - always a treat to see Mastiff working the ring, especially against a more physically dominant opponent.
+ Good matchup with slower pacing yet high impact clashes and hard-hitting moves. + ? ... ? - ... -

Bayley & Carmella def. Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair [3.5/5]
Talk show always need a good personality to anchor it, and Noam Dahr is the perfect guy for it, and a great foil to play against the guest, preferably baby faces but especially heels, seeing their egos go head to head against each other.
Cruiserweight can be a limiting division but if used properly would showcase the more agile talents stuck in the middle rung. Case in point, Jordan Devlin is a star in the indies that's just couldn't get a spotlight at the top of the roster before a couple of undeniably more deserving wrestlers. This is the next best thing for him to put his stamp on it, a smaller pedestal admittedly but a platform nonetheless. Using his responsibility to highlight young up and coming talent in is always a good mindset for a veteran of the industry to have.
+ What a great representation of the division of the old and the new, being given ample time to showcase each talent. + ? ... ? - ... -
