That might be a bit risque of choices given before, the narrator wonders loudly... Anyway, he urges the adventurer to take a moment to take it all in before setting off again. They concur, closing their eyes and breathe in deeply while letting the sorely missed breeze gently hitting their exposed skin. Letting that sensation washes over the body, they open their eyes realizing that 'the loner' is no more, now with a companion now by their side, or at least would be if it was kept safe and sound until the time comes for it to hatch. Putting it in the breast pocket with the makeshift 'nest' made out of the grass they pulled from the ground is probably the best choice to make for them. That is their sole responsibility now. The now protector can't help but feel a bit excited and yet apprehensive at the same time with this role being dropped at their feet out of nowhere. Finally having a role to play in this uncertain realm gives them a purpose, something to strive for instead of just flailing blindly. Now they can't wait to go forward towards the great unknown, sitting up with conviction that is not there before, surprising the narrator with their newfound enthusiasm. Okay, where to now, he asks with upbeat tone, appears to be infected from the optimism they are radiating. Do they want to stay the night here in the open or take a chance to try to reach the nearest village. Which one would you choose, dear adventurer?
