The deal made by his colleagues under duress and without much choices with the district attorney with hidden agenda was a setup to get the Punisher out of hiding, which was only successful in getting the two vigilantes to fight again, now under fire and water in another wonderfully choreographed fight between agility and power, with the earlier shot to the head came back to haunt him as it rendered him unable to resist Castle's taking.
