(Director Ben Stiller, Production ~ -> Release Date 122513, Budget $90 Millions -> Box Office $58.2 Millions, Duration 1 hr 54 mnts, Rating PG, Genre - Action Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy)
It doesn't lack for ambition, but The Secret Life of Walter Mitty fails to back up its grand designs with enough substance to anchor the spectacle.
+/- A modern adaptation of a short story about a daydreaming employee that uses its fantasy setting well in the first half but slows down later towards the end
+/- Gorgeous cinematography coupled with its fantasy setting is a sight to behold but the rather simplistic story does not support the visual well
