"An exhaustive yet rewarding journey through the harsh white wilderness that is brought to life by another successful team-up of a visionary director and a masterful cinematographer, giving way for the performance of a lifetime by the main lead that is supported by the solid cast among the beautifully captured fauna while the main theme of belief  hanging over everything."

+ The inventive style of the championed director with his cinematographer partner fully realized the world the characters is in with its signature long shots and now the natural lighting in real life locations, rendering all those delays and reshoots worth the trouble with its beautifully captured vista and inventive long takes
+/- A simple true story although adapted with a huge application of the creative license is wonderfully captured with it being in the foreground while the lead actor is at the forefront, engulfing himself in the grittiness of that world and his situation by giving out his best performance to date
+/- Vague and sometimes apparent imagery of religion and belief being the foundation of the protagonist's push through his journey physically and psychologically but his prolong experience could be tiring for some viewers to go through with if they are not hooked from the start
