(Director Quentin Tarantino [Pulp Fiction], Writer Quentin Tarantino, Release Date 122515, Budget $44 Millions - Box Office $13.3> Millions, Production 001113-120814, Duration 2 hrs 47 mins @ 3 hrs 7 mins [Roadshow], Rating R, Genre - Comedy, Drama, Mystery, Western)
"An ever increasingly confident auteur demonstrated his solid filmmaking skills with another round of western that is different from before and unique in its execution with his vintage action, humor and over-the-top violence showcasing his unnerving identity in his every movie."
+ The triumphant return of the classic film medium that subvert common expectations by using its wide lenses to inventively tell a fresh different story by mostly placed them in a single setting and focusing the attention on the characters themselves and the minute detail all around them
+/- A mystery being presented in a Clue-like nature with a masterful storytelling of a simple western setting with a perfect use of the elongated time to fully fleshed out the characters and pay tribute to how it used to be but its long runtime (that it certainly earned) and the brash nature of it could deter others
+/- Vintage famed director, Quentin Tarantino, with his fingerprints all over the movie with his tribute for the long forgotten medium apparent as he used the medium almost to perfection while his trademark conversationalist trait and apparent love for the bloody carnage are all there to see, delighting his die hard fans while deterring his detractors
* (The intermission is used wonderfully by the director b completely changing the tone of the movie and then introducing another set of characters in another chapter) [highlight inside () for the movie's second half spoilers]
