  1. Following a tragic end to her brief superhero career, Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City

(Season 1 - Episodes 13, Running Time 44 - 55 min, Production 02-08 2015 Release Date 102015, Rating TV-MA, Genre - Action, Detective, Drama, Neo-Noir, Psychological Thriller, Superhero)

"The first Marvel's female antihero has her multifaceted life fleshed out exceptionally in a landmark TV series, engaging the viewers with its charismatic leads while not letting down on its mature themes, and bringing to life one of the bleakest comic series with its seamless combination of extraordinary heroism and psychological horror."

Great continuation of the Marvel's Netflix series with its own identity and tone in this ever growing cinematic universe, focusing more on the main character's psychological journey and her investigative skills, being less physical than its predecessor yet tasteful in its presentation of sexuality
Excellent ensemble of cast portraying each character wonderfully, embodying their roles in the story and interact wonderfully with each other especially between Jessica Jones and Luke Cage
More mature and serious subjects are being brought into spotlight (such as rape and the following PTSD) which is a symbolism of modern day sexism and misogyny, pushing the boundaries of what can be portrayed in the small screen
Another addition to the list of the best Marvel villain to date with the wonderful and devilish portrayal of the Purple Man by the charismatic David Tennant, on par with Loki and Wilson Fisk
+/- Interesting and unique side characters that filled the roles of the Marvel superheroes in the original comic but they were lacking in their adaptations and even creation when compared to Daredevil's well-executed use of lore, further emphasized by its small, unsatisfactory tie-in
+/- This new release method (of releasing the whole season at once) is really advantageous to cash in on the show's hype and buzz at a short time but hard to keep the discussion going on the long run
