As a child Matt Murdock was blinded by a chemical spill in a freak accident. Instead of limiting him it gave him superhuman senses that enabled him to see the world in a unique and powerful way. Now he uses these powers to deliver justice, not only as a lawyer in his own law firm, but also as vigilante at night, stalking the streets of Hell's Kitchen as Daredevil, the man without fear. Written by DDK

(Netflix Channel, Rating - TV-MA, Premiere 04102015, Episodes 13, Creators Drew Goddard & Steven S. DeKnight, Duration - 48-59 mnts, Genre - Action, Crime, Drama, Marvel Universe, Superhero, Violence)

"A risk well taken to create an excellent and gritty take of a well-known superhero origin story that is filled with drama and with high production values, resulting in such an exciting series."

A gritty take and a darker tone on the superhero genre with a very human protagonist, focusing on the everyday people living in the post-Avengers world
+/- Slow and steady in its unraveling and with its rough outline showing the storyline bit by bit, a change of pace from the usual show format by using the Netflix format to the fullest
+/- Perfect assemble of cast with great chemistry with each other and a number of outstanding performances throughout the series albeit with a different take on a number of characters from the original premise
+/- Grounded view on the Marvel's cinematic universe with a few correlations and yet still in its own world, albeit with creative license taken to adapt it to the small screen and into the existing universe
Excellent cinematography with beautiful shots and subtle imagery, giving it a realistic vibe in a smaller scale i.e. the amazing one-shot fight scene in the second episode
Breathtaking and brutal fight sequences akin to 'the Raid - Redemption' with shocking and gruesome violence that resulted in real and grave consequences
